Judy Wynona Gilliam
Judy Wynona Gilliam, 78, of Dow, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at Eufaula Manor.
The family will greet friends on today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Dow Baptist Church with Pastor Raymond Shann officiating, assisted by Pastor Bob Roy Davidson. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne, under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
Pallbearers include Brian Gilliam, Steven Harmon, Dewayne Gilreath, Shane Gonzales, Steve Darby and Denny Joe Adams.
Honorary pallbearers include Jordan Gilreath, Jacob Darby, Matthew Darby and Noah Irwin.
Born March 4, 1931, in Dow, to Seth and Lottie (McKinney) Shann, she married Roy Gilliam on July 3, 1948, at Fort Smith, Ark. She had lived all of her life in Dow and was a member of Dow Baptist Church. She also enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol & Ronnie Dugger, of Hartshorne, Connie and Jessie Cooper, of Hanna; seven grandchildren, Dewayne Gilreath, Starla Adams, Tina Darby, Tammy Dugger, Steven Harmon, Shane Gonzales and Brian Gilliam; 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Geno and Margie Bores, of Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gilliam; one son, Phillip Gilliam; one daughter, Judy Barch; grandson, Nicholas Gonzales; three brothers, and three sisters.
