Leola Fay McKnight
Leola Fay McKnight, 82, of Corsicana, Texas, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, in Corsicana.
Funeral services were held July 14 at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Huffstetler officiating. Burial was at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Retreat, Texas. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Corley Funeral Home of Corsicana, Texas.
Born June 27, 1927, in Haywood, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Grace Hunter Henson. She moved to Corsicana, Texas in 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of Daniel McMahon Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She attended Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jesse Medlock, Red Oak, Texas, and Ronald McKnight, Corsicana, Texas; daughters, Donna Medlock Paul and husband, Terry, Corsicana, Texas, Janet Medlock Cook and husband, Joe, Malakoff, Texas, Nancy McKnight Praytor and husband, Jessie, Corsicana, Texas, and Gracie McKnight Trent and husband, Jerry, Corsicana, Texas; sister, Olene Henson Kelley, of McAlester; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Terry Paul Jr., Chris Cook, Nathan Paul, Justin McKnight, Eddie Praytor and Joseph Praytor.
