Reno Missie Jones

Reno Missie Jones, 27, of McAlester, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at her home.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bache-Red Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Don Russell officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born June 12, 1981, in Philadelphia, Miss., she was the daughter of John Jr. and Ruth (Cheeseman) Jones. She was a member of the Crowder High School Class of 2000. She worked at Simonton Windows.

She enjoyed boating and dirt bike riding.

Survivors include her parents, John Jr. and Ruth Jones, of McAlester; daughter, Skylar Jones, of McAlester; son, Peyton Trammell, of McAlester.

Also, sister, Natasha Jones, of Tulsa; aunts and uncles, Ruth Settlemyre, of Fort Gibson, Linda Sawyer and husband, Mose, of Sapulpa, Wanda Garrett and husband, Gary, of Barnsdall, Helen Gulley and husband, Stan, Rockwall, Texas, Elizabeth Banks and husband, Eddie, Palm Coast, Fla., Ruby Flax and husband, Randy, Salina, Kan., Leon Jones and wife, Kay, of Hawaii, Daniel Jones and wife, Elaine, of Ada, and Sam Jones and wife, Janet, Pacific, Mo., and numerous cousins, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Johnny and Mary Jones; maternal grandmother, Helen Cheeseman; uncle, David Jones, and aunt, Betty Williams.
