A full blood descendant of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, she was educated locally and graduated from Chilocco High School. Our mother was always willing to perform her duty for a just cause and served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Korean War veteran. She attended Southeastern State University in Durant where she met the love of her life, Dr. Delbert Brock, formerly of Indianola, OK. She worked for the U.S. Naval Ammunition Base as a payroll accountant during the 1960’s. Ms. Brock was selected from a nationwide search to appear as a contestant on the game show “Jeopardy”. After moving to Tulsa nearly 35 years ago, she did confidential accounting for the U.S. federal government. She also worked for the Tulsa Zoo as a zookeeper supervisor for 17 years with what can only be described as “a passion to care for animals” so that the city of Tulsa and world travelers might enjoy the beauty of wildlife and nature as she cared for them. She was a member of the Audubon Society, VFW, DAV, and Nature Conservancy. Ms. Brock was a life long enthusiast of wildlife conservation. She was loved by all who knew her and always willing to help anyone.

Always in our memory and love, her son, Rick Brock, daughter-in-law, Kay Brock; son, Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Melody) Brock; daughter, Mr. and Mrs. (Gladys) Rogers; son, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin ((Faye) Brock; daughter-in-law, Victoria Rounds; daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Twila) Long, all of Tulsa; Grandsons, Brandon & Terry Brock, Matthew & Justin Rogers, William Nelson Brock, Christopher & Gary Sandridge, all of Tulsa, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Meagan) Long, of Phoenix, AZ; Granddaughters, Erin & Shelly Brock, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby (Kristen) Isbell, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Amanda) Frazier III, Jennifer Naioma Brock, Amy and Latisha Long and Carrie Sandridge, all of Tulsa; and 15 Great-grandchildren; her sisters, Marie Navarro, of Montclair, CA, Shirley Barbone, of Durant, Sue Folsom, of Bennington; and many nieces & nephews, and other relatives, friends & bingo buddies.
