Linda Gail Guinn Parker
Linda Gail Guinn Parker, 60, of McAlester, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, from cancer.
Viewing will be from 1 to 8, and family will receive guests from 6 to 8 tonight at Gregg Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Canadian with the Rev. Rodney Karch officiating. Burial will be at Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Eufaula.
She was born Nov. 12, 1947, in McAlester. She grew up in Canadian and remained in the area most of her life.
Survivors include her brother, Herbert Guinn, of Indianola; son, David Hunnicutt, Greenville, Texas; daughter, Genia Crews, of McAlester; grandchildren, Jacob and Jordan Rose Hunnicutt, Greenville, Texas, Shenia Garrett, Alissa Paxton, and Slade Ketcher, all of McAlester; great-granddaughter, Stormy Rowell of McAlester; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and Godsister, Sharon Barchenger.
She was preceded in death by father, Dave V. Guinn; mother, Jessie Mae Moody Guinn, and sister Imogene Jones Anderson.
Pall bearers will be Kelly Crews (son-in-law), John Michael Fowler Jr., Joe Mac Guess, Mike Jones (nephew), Sam McElheney, and W.O. Moody.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Bedford, Mike Burns, Donald Mathis, Tom Palansky, Doug Pinson, Arlis Pratt, and Steve Thomas.
