The Savanna Lady Bulldogs finished the night, putting away their demons, defeating the Crowder Demonettes 39-51, Monday, in Crowder. The Bulldogs defeated the Demons 67-56.

The Lady Dawgs finished out the conference standings with a 10-0 record, including tournaments, losing only one game this season to Atoka — redeeming themselves with a 57-43, win, Friday. The Lady Dawgs have an overall record of 19-1, this season with one more game left, with a non-conference team, the Coalgate Lady Wildcats, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb 17.

The Demonettes are 20-3, in their season play, losing to the Lady Dawgs twice — once in the Pitt 8 tournament finals and the other Monday. The Demonettes also faced a tough 5A McAlester Lady Buffs, earlier in the season, in a tournament, losing 32-42.

Savanna’s Makenzie Brown, led the the pack with 17-points for the night. The Demonettes, Alex Tucker, haunted the score board with 15-points of her own, scoring a trey in the second period.

Lady Dawgs’ Becca lanham helped the Dawgs pile 14 more points on the board, as senior Shelby Woods defended the Lady Dawgs yard.

Hillary Konsure put up 13-points for the Demonettes and Kelsey Rowland threw up nine points, all three-pointers.

The Savanna Bulldogs came in to Crowder with an appetite, jumping in front early, 5-0.

The Demons’ Tim Lawson hit a trey that brought his team within two.

The Dawgs’ Dylan Baker answered right back with a trey of his own, keeping the Dawgs ahead five points. Baker finished the night with 12-points for the Dawgs.

The top Dawg of the night came from the 20-points Savanna’s Landon Walker recorded.

Even with the Demons’ Brandon Webber, scoring 17-points —‚ 11-points in the third period — the Demons couldn’t close the lead the Dawgs had on them.

There was seven players that scored in the double digits, in Crowder's packed gym, Monday.

Savanna’s Brandon Biggs 13, Tyler Inman 12, Dylan Baker 12; Demons’ Lawson 15, and Gary Romine with 13-points.

The Crowder teams will face Indianola tonight, 6:30 p.m., at Indianola.
