Pastor Terren Anderson of Life Church said his church has grown beyond what he ever imagined.
“Our goal is to reach people with God’s love,” Anderson said.
With humble beginnings ten years ago with just 50 members in a former pharmacy building on First and Choctaw, he said the church was known as the “drug store church.”
Now, ten years later and with more than 800 in attendance on an average Sunday morning, Anderson’s church has grown to one of the largest in the area.
He said some people may think because of the size of the church it’s not as friendly as a small church.
“But once you get in here, Anderson said, “you’ll feel the Lords presence in love.”
On Sunday to celebrate the 10 year anniversary, the church will hold a special service and lunch will be served at it’s location on 1300 S. George Nigh Expressway.
With the continuing growth and with the upcoming celebration Anderson said he is thankful.
“We have been blessed,” he said.
