Time to get ready for school

It’s already time for parents to start back-to-school shopping for their children.
Paul Stanfield was chosen as the Star of the Month for July at Quinton Manor.
Happy Birthday to Geraldine Abby, Friday, and Minnie Bell Needham, July 30.
Quinton Mayor Ron Wiggins asked residents of Quinton to please be patient while city workers are fixing water lines and streets.
Quinton First Baptist Church will hold services at Quinton Manor Nursing Home Monday at 3:30 p.m.
The Sold Out to Jesus gospel singers come to Quinton Manor each Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The group includes Sharon Morris, the lead singer, Cameo Brennan, keyboard, and Marie Monks plays the tambourine and sings.
The Rev. Eddie Dye, pastor of Quinton First Baptist Church, took some of his young people to church camp this past week.
Becka and Hannah Johnson came to Quinton Manor last week and played Bingo with their grandpa, Paul Stanfield.
Bill and Edna Seabolt, of Tulsa, visited recently with his mother, Hattie Seabolt, at Quinton Manor.
Roy and Ludene Roberts, of Quinton, attended the Barbee family reunion at Robbers Cave on July 13.
The Quinton Senior Citizens had 40 present for dinner on July 10. Bonita Pearce, coordinator, invites everyone to come eat a delicious meal each Thursday at 11:30 a.m.
Happy 17th birthday to my little angel, Keely Bohanan, on July 13. Keely was given a birthday party by her family.
We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Billy Gene McKee. McKee had been an employee at Quinton Public Schools for 27 years as a bus driver and mechanic.
