Hobelman, Mann exchange vows

Michelle Hobelman and Jeff Mann were married the evening of Oct. 15 in an outdoor ceremony at the Perryman Ranch in Jenks.

The barn setting was decorated in a harvest theme and featured pumpkins, fall chrysanthemums as well as grapevine garland. Suspended in the garland were bouquets of red and orange Gerbera daisies, sunflowers, blue thistle, solid Dago and Viking chrysanthemums.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Janice Hobelman, Tulsa. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Orval Galley, Tulsa.

Mann’s parents are Allen and Ann Mann, McAlester. His grandparents are the late Col. and Mrs. Howard Von Kaenel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mann.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless gown of white crepe chiffon with a demi-train and long illusion veil. She carried a clutch bouquet of orange roses and lilies, blue delphinium, red miniature Gerbera daisies. It featured bear grass and curly willow.

The bride’s sister, Andrea Mohn, was matron of honor. Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Lauren Hobelman. Both are of Tulsa. Other attendants were Katie Mann, the bridegroom’s sister; Laura Prosser, Norman; Sarah Ross, Tulsa; and Lisa Tonemah, Faxon. They each wore a ballerina-length dress of black crepe chiffon and carried clutch bouquets similar to the bride’s.

Serving his son as best man was Allen Mann. Other attendants were Dan Smith and Chris Barnes, Tulsa; Rob Brunk, Dallas; John McWaters, San Diego, Calif.; and Ben Eland, Breckenridge, Colo. Ushers were Erik Von Kaenel, the bridegroom’s cousin from Norman; and John Eland, Breckenridge.

The flower girl and ring bearer were Megan and Lane Parham, Tulsa.

The music for the ceremony was a blend of traditional Scottish ballads, Irish reels and contemporary artists. The violinist was Jon Prosser. The vocalist and guitarist was Matt Mohn. Sarah Rhom accompanied her brother as a a vocalist.

A reception was held at an outdoor pavilion. The tables featured bouquets of sunflowers, orange and red Gerbera daisies, Viking chrysanthemums and blue thistle. The bouquets were of a harvest theme and were made in fresh pumpkins and rustic baskets. They included topiary trees of sunflowers.

The couple is now at home in McAlester.
