Tipton, Trammell to wed

First United Methodist Church in McAlester, will be the setting for the wedding of Lanene Tipton (Allsup) and SSG(R) Jason L. Trammell.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on Oct. 31.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Frank Allsup, Jr. and Linda Thompson, of McAlester, and Laura and Jim Sheppard, of Crowder. Her grandparents are Edith Allsup, the late Frank Allsup, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Walter "H" Wilson, all of McAlester.

Parents of the bridegroom-elect are Terry and Hayden Baker, of McAlester, and Lorene Dillard, of Golden Valley, Az. He is the grandson of Mary Berman of McConnell, Tenn., Mike Avera, of Nampa, Idaho, and the late Doris Honer.
