Niehus-Willis

Diane Willis, formerly of McAlester, is announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Jennifer Willis, to Jacob Niehus. The bride to be is also the daughter of the late Greg Willis.

She is a 2003 graduate of McAlester High School and went on to receive her Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2007.

Niehus is the son of Jon Niehus of Chicago, IL and Barbara Niehus of Skokie, IL. He received his Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois in May.

Both are now working fulltime for Raytheon Missilie Systems in Tucson, AZ.

The wedding is set for Oct. 11 at St. John’s Catholic Chapel in Champaign, IL with Fr. Johndamaseni Zilimu officiating. The bridesmaids will be former McAlester High School graduates Beth Willis and Amy Dunagin and a college roommate, Jennifer Herzig. The groomsmen will be three college roommates, Will Smith, Grant Alexander, and Jon Parise.
