Devola M. Mathiews, 92, of Wilburton, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2009, at McAlester Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bob Waldrop Memorial Chapel with Darren Harber officiating. Burial will be at Wilburton Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Waldrop Funeral Home of Wilburton.

Born Dec. 5, 1916, in Nola, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Eula Mae (Ammons) Enis. She married Truman Mathiews on Aug. 10, 1940, in Wilburton, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2004.

She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Heights Church of Christ in Wilburton.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Pat Mathiews, of Haileyville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vestal and Onie Enis, of Wilburton, Rock and Pat Enis, of Henryetta, and Don and Gerty Enis, Jasper, Ga.

Also, granddaughter, Traci Mathiews, of Haileyville; grandson, Derek Mathiews, of Haileyville, and stepgrandson, Patrick Nobles, of Tulsa.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Norma Mathiews; parents, Clayton and Eula Enis, and sisters, Jewell Fazekas, Peggy Raspotnik and Ora Faye Ratliff.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Fazekas, Robert Fazekas, Jim Enis, Rick Enis and Tom Wartick.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Raspotnik, Jimmy Davis, Don McClain, Joe Shelton, Richard Mathiews, Ronald Mathiews and Jerry Mathiews.
