Robyn Lynn Brooks

McALESTER — Robyn Lynn Brooks, 57, of Henryetta, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital in Henryetta.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Chaney’s Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Crowson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester.

Born June 16, 1956, at Fort Sill, in Lawton, she was the daughter of Randel and Wanda (Ellis) Bigelow. She attended Pittsburg schools.

She received her R.N. Degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College. She worked as a R.N. for more than 25 years. She was currently employed by Hillcrest Hospital.

Survivors include her mother, Wanda Bigelow, of McAlester; son, John Webb and wife, Kara, of Henryetta, and daughter, Hollie Griffith and husband, Theron, of Atwood; children, Bridgette Howell and husband, Tommy, of Okmulgee, Jennifer Russell and husband, Jason, of Tahlequah, T.J. Lyles, of Tulsa, Justion Brooks, of Tahlequah, and Brent “L.B.” Brooks and wife, Jawna, of Tahlequah.

Also, grandchildren, Coleten Griffith, Brayden Griffith, Chazetin Webb, Stormy Howell, Raynee Howell, Chase Lyles, Brandi Lyles, Kristen, Trace, Emmalee, Aedan, Destaney, Lane and Taryn; brothers, Randy Bigelow and wife, Pam, of McAlester, Roy Bigelow and wife, Kim, of Tulsa, Rusty Bigelow and wife, Kristy, of McAlester; sister, Nita Bigelow, of Oklahoma City, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randel Bigelow; grandchildren, Kirstan Webb and Johanthan Webb; infant brother, Rodney Bigelow, her husband, Brent Brooks.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Bigelow, Roy Bigelow, Rusty Bigelow, Theron Griffith, Tommy Howell and Jason Russell.
