McALESTER — Shirley Ann (Stacy) Henson, 78, formerly of McAlester, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, in Rio Hondo, Texas.

Funeral arrangements are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bishop Chapel of Memories, under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service, with the Rev. Arty Hearod officiating.

She was born Sept. 13, 1935 in Cabiness. She was the daughter of Buster and Lorene Knight Stacy. She married E.B. Henson on April 10, 1950, in Stuart. They lived in McAlester before moving to Oklahoma City in 1971. During her working career, she was employed at Seamprufe, now Komar Manufacturing in McAlester, and later on at International Fitness in Oklahoma City. The couple later retired and moved to Rio Hondo, Texas.

She was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the Baptist church in Rio Hondo, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, E.B. Henson, of the home; mother. Lorene Stacy, of McAlester; sister and brother-in-law Mildred Clifton and husband, Charlie, of McAlester;  son, Stan Henson, of Midwest City; sister-in-law Sandra Stewart and husband, Gene, of Arpelar; grandchildren Matthew Henson and  wife, Sarah, of Ootewah, Tenn.; Kevin Moore, of Midwest City, and Cynthia Moore, of Midwest City; great-grandchildren, Logan Henson and  Caleb Henson, of Ootewah, Tenn.; Cheyenne and Dakota Jones, of Midwest City, and Kyle and

Kimberly Moore, of Midwest City; nieces Kay Coffee and husband, Keith, of McAlester; LaDonna Autrey and husband, Michael, of Shawnee; nephew Billy Stewart and wife, Kris, of Arpelar; special nieces and nephews; Jason Coffee and children, Taylor and Tanner; and Jennifer Heinicke and children, Keaton Lozano and Case Heinicke.

She was preceded in death by her father, Buster Stacy, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Gertie Henson, and a daughter-in-law, Dianna Henson.

Active pallbearers are Keith Coffee, Jason Coffee, Mike Heinicke, Rusty Clifton, Randy Clifton and David Clifton.

Honorary pallbearers are Billy Stewart and Gene Stewart.
