Five area legislators recently visited with Eastern Oklahoma State College students during a luncheon in Wilburton, hosted by President Dr. Stephen E. Smith. Representative Donnie Condit,

D-McAlester; Representative Brian Renegar, D-McAlester; Representative R. C. Pruett, D-Antlers; Representative Ed Cannaday, D-Porum; and Senator Larry Boggs spent the morning with Eastern staff to hear updates about college. Following the meeting, the

legislators had lunch with a group of students from throughout the state.

The legislators spoke with students about the reasons that led them to run for office and their goals for the upcoming legislative session. Students shared what they were studying, as well as their future educational and career goals.
