Beta Iota Proclamation

McALESTER —  

Beta Iota of McAlester is a local chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International. ESA is a nonprofit service organization that makes a difference in the lives of others. March 2013 marks the 40th anniversary of Beta Iota serving as a local chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International in the McAlester community. Beta Iota believes that volunteerism strengthens communities and enhances the overall quality of life. McAlester Mayor Steve Harrison proclaims March 2013 to be Beta Iota Philanthropy Month and calls upon the people of McAlester to promote the spirit of volunteerism and to observe the month with appropriate activities, programs and ceremonies supporting Beta Iota.
