Fortnightly

McALESTER —

Pictured, Mary Coker, McAlester Fortnightly president, spoke during the Fortnightly 2013 Fall Brunch. Coker thanked the Casual Gourmet Department members for the beautifull fall decorations and delicious brunch consisting of egg cassaroles, fruit, sweet breads, juice, coffee and tea. She also read the names of the five members who have passed away this year and asking members if any others should be included.  These dedicated members will be included in the Memorial Service to be held Saturday, October 26 during the GFWC OK Southeast District Convention in Hugo. During the program, Dot Thompson, Fortnightly parliamentarian, explained the attributes of a GFWC Clubwoman

performing her volunteer duties using different types of soap for an example. Margaret Fields drew names and distributed

the appropriate door prizes.
