Bible translation program given at DAR meeting

Nina Fereday presented a program on how today’s Bible was translated from Latin and Greek to other languages which could be read and understood by the masses during the monthly meeting of the Kilihoti Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.

She also told the group the translators also suffered from censure, torture and sometimes death as a result of their efforts.

Deborah Stone gave the National Defense Report. Justine Gore reported on the status of new membership applications.

Laura Cook decorated the tables with delicate china Revolutionary-era ladies.
