Ronald Radford, a nationally known flamenco guitarist, had a public concert the Sunday before the meeting and had done school programs the morning of the meeting. He entertained the group with several numbers.
The club’s scholarship recipients also performed. Rachel Boyd sang and Paige Grilliot performed a clarinet solo.
Both were accompanied by Gary Boyd.
The nominating committee presented the new officers for the coming club year.
They are Virginia Allford, president; Phoebe Motley, vice president; Christine Briggs, secretary; Betty Turnipseed, treasurer; and Lynda Mason, parliamentarian.
There were 20 members and seven guests present.
