Beta Iota members headed to state convention

From submitted reports

Members of the Beta Iota Chapter, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, will attend the ESA state convention at the Sheraton Hotel/Reed Convention Center in Midwest City April 13-15.

They include Mona Martin, Jennye Hickman, Tina McKamie, June Miller and Elaine Ockletree. Martin is the newly elected District V coordinator and Hickman is running for recording secretary for the state council office.

State Council President Robbin Brown, Choctaw, will be in charge of the convention.

This year’s theme is “ESA Celebrates Oklahoma’s Centennial.” The event includes workshops, candidates’ skits, an awards luncheon, installation of officers and state council meetings.

Ramona Paine, Enid, will be installed as the new state president during the Saturday night banquet.

Sunday morning, a memorial service will be held to honor those who died during the 2006-07 year.
