McAlester senior Chance Sistrunk beat Collinsville’s William Reynolds 6-0, 6-1, to finish fifth in one-singles at the Class 5A state tournament Friday and Saturday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.

Buffs AD says goodbye

Buffs tennis third at Regionals, makes State
McAlester finished runner-up in two divisions and fourth in two more, placing third overall at Metro Christian’s regional tournament in Tulsa and advancing to Friday's Class 5A state tournament in all four divisions.

McAlester’s five golfers posted a total score of 1,034 across three rounds, finishing 12th out 12 teams at the Class 5A state tournament Monday and Tuesday at Fort Sill Golf Course in Lawton.

The McAlester Lady Buffaloes shot a 426 Wednesday and a 465 Thursday, finishing 11th at the Class 5A state golf tournament at the Duncan Tennis and Golf Club.
Lady Buffs ready for tennis State
The McAlester Lady Buffaloes finished runner-up at Monday’s regional tennis tournament at Cascia Hall in Tulsa, qualifying their entire team to today’s state tournament in Oklahoma City.
