It was failed equipment that caused a power outage at 1:57 p.m. today left 1251 customers without power until 2:15 p.m., Public Service Company spokesman Frank Phillips said, shirtly after the power was restored.
OEM testing sirens today and power outage not related
Director of the McAlester Pittsburg County Office of Emergecy Managment said sirens hear at approximately 1:45 p.m. today were only a test and not related to the power outages in McAlester.
