Table decorations for the First Baptist Church PrimeTimers and guests’ monthly luncheon and business meeting reminded 105 members and guests to care for family pets during the on-going heat wave.

President Dub Brown was in charge of the meeting. Charley Hale gave the opening prayer.

Following the luncheon, James and Inez Johnson with Roy Justice presented a dozen inspirational musical selections including “Johnson Family Pew.”

Erma Dunn, secretary, read the minutes of the July meeting. Zoe Henley, treasurer, gave the financial report. Elaine Brown, travel chairman, discussed future travel opportunities.
